Every year, NAR hosts a Realtor® Association Outstanding Web Site Contest. Each Web site that enters the contest is evaluated on many factors, including organization, content, aesthetics and ease of use. Judges also take into consideration association size and staff. This fifth annual competition, sponsored by Realtor® Association Executive magazine, recognizes associations that use their Web sites to deliver outstanding service and valuable information to members and consumers.
We are proud to announce that HAR.com has won the 2006 Realtor® Association Outstanding Web Site Award. This is our third award; we won in 2003 and 2004.
Twenty judges evaluated more than 80 entries in two categories: Web sites that primarily serve members, and Web sites that serve members and consumers. Entries weren't judged against each other, but rather on how well they achieved their individual mission and served their target audience. Judges surfed the sites just as members and consumers would. They rated each site by assigning points to key aspects, including depth and timeliness of content, consistent and appealing design, logical navigation, and overall ease of use.
The judging panel consisted of Association Executive members of the Realtor® Association Executive magazine editorial board and members of the National Association of Realtors® communications department.
Realtor® Association Executive magazine’s spring 2006 issue features the six winners and several honorable mentions that were selected by the magazine staff, its editorial board, and selected experts.
We are excited to share this award with all of you. Your excellent leadership, time and efforts have helped make HAR.com what it is today. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to continuing this winning trend!
